What a year - this DVD captures it well. I have to admit, though, I forgot I had it. It's not the kind of thing I will view over and over.
The case does not hold the pieces in its slots. It gets all jumbled up and flies out everywhere. Very cheaply made, it's already bent! Don't waste your money. I bought this kit to keep around the house just in case, I'm a single mom and very hands on and love fixing things so I thought it'd be perfect for occasional projects/light fixing up, but definitely should've spent a little more for better quality.
I have used Acronis True Image Home for several years now, always with outstanding results. I have installed it on almost a dozen machines, and I have rebuilt at least half a dozen drives from scratch with it. I have never had a problem. Currently I have version 2010 running on two of my own machines, one XP and one Vista. A number of the negative reviews mention Windows 7, so I installed 2010 on my Windows 7 machine just to see if there was anything to the complaints. Everything went very smoothly. I backed up the whole hard drive and restored it without a hitch. I teach a class on computer maintenance, and I have always recommended Acronis True Image Home to my students. No one has ever told me that they had a problem with it. I use the program for basic backup and restore. I have never tried to create a secure zone, use one-click backup, use Try and Decide, uninstall the program, or ask for customer support. Several of the negative reviews mentioned problems in these areas. I can't comment on that, but I would say that if you are just doing backup and recovery, Acronis should work well for you.
This is THE product for me. I have battled candida for about 10 years, nothing worked, Dr.'s kept trying things, one even told me to deal with it because I was fat! (I'm average size, not huge but not Barbie either) I find out about this product on a candida support website, tried it from my local health store. It does take time, this is something that is rooted in your system, and it does not go away overnight. You also need to go through what the support site calls the "kill-off". It is not pleasant, however if you stick with it, once you get beyond that point it gets much much better. I have read quite a few skeptics on here, no I'm not paid for saying this, nor do I get a discount, I buy from Amazon because it's the cheapest I've found, and with being a single mom cost is a factor, but going without is not an option anymore, the benefits far outweigh the expense, and with having to take quite a few to start out to get it under control, it does get expensive, but my feeling better, not feeling like I'm in a fog, and the itching gone is so worth it, words can not describe how good it feels to know your not crazy and someone somewhere understands and there is help. Try the product, and check out the support websites, they tell you how to use it, and what to expect. Everyone is different, and not everyone reacts the same way, but don't give up hope, your not alone. Good Luck to all!
I wanted to like this product, I really did. However, I found that it just did not remove the build up on my shower head. My shower head is only 6 months old, so it was not like this was years of build up. I followed the directions, and even used more than directed on my second attempt. I would not use this product again.
So long TurboTax. TaxAct Deluxe Federal edition let me file our 3 different W-2's, small business income, IRA data, investment income data, itemized deductions for charity and property tax (just like TurboTax once did) before Intuit got greedy. I saved last years TurboTax data as a .pdf file and TaxAct was even able to import the vast majority of data (names, addresses, SSN's etc) for me to review rather than type in (if you didn't save last years data as a .pdf file you are going to have to enter that data). Even if you cannot import from last year that is no biggie. The TaxAct software did just like it should. Walks you through the normal questions of income compiling, taxes paid, deductions etc. with little fuss or hassle and in a pretty straightforward manner. I cannot believe Intuit was so stupid to lose what was probably a pretty faithful following - but this year many people have been bamboozled into buying an Intuit product that is either out of date, or (less) than what they needed to file and always at a ridiculously high price to do normal family tax filing. I'm sure they will regroup next year when they see how many people left but it will be too late. TaxAct is priced in the sweet spot so unless they screw up like Intuit did I see no reason why I won't use them again next year (are you listening TaxAct? :-)). My state is already set up for electronic filing online - so I did not need to bother buying or upgrading to a State edition. This product is the Federal product only but very robust. TaxAct rocked this year.
