I wrote an application back in 2003 that I've been using ever since. However Access 2003 does not run well on the new family of processors and Windows 7 64 bit professional. So, I got this Access 2010 with the intention of converting my old application to the latest and greatest. Once the high-level settings got fixed, about 90% of my application came right over to 2010. Most of the problems were with screen formatting issues - there were some logic errors as techniques I'd used 7 years ago were no longer supported. But, generally, it all came over quite well. However, there is a fundamental problem: I cannot run the 2003 .MDB file exactly as it sits on Access 2010.... why is this a problem? Because the old application needs to run on 3 systems in stand-alone mode. So I need a 2003 version for backup and laptop and a 2010 version for production desktop. Time to look at alternatives!

Great product, love the usb GPS. Love the Streets and Trips, and this GPS works with other software I have for marine navigation, an added bonus.

It looked okay for the first week, and then I noticed how twoo times a day it takes control of my old XP PC downloading definitions and running the CPU use to 100% This churns on for an hour and there is no way to schedule when it happens, or pause the download so that a task can be completed. Granted this is an 8 year old XP machine, but I came from Uniblue made in Eastern Europe thinking I could trust a US based company for a better product - WRONGO! back to Uniblue I go, oh and as to technical support was, do you want a refund.

I already owned the printed copy of this Bible, so was familiar with it and love it for all the information it contains in intros to books and footnotes. When I ordered the Kindle version, I was hoping for a quick way to get to Biblical references, other books of the Bible, and notes. It's not nearly as quick as I was hoping, though it is much better than the other Kindle Bible I have (which doesn't have footnotes anyway). Perhaps I was expecting too much. Perhaps the following idea is not even possible, but I will pose the suggestion anyway: 2 tabs on the right side of the page, one OT, the other NT. When you choose either one, all the tabs for those books within each appear, and one simply chooses the desired book; at that point, all the chapter tabs appear, and then verse tabs. At least the OT and NT tabs should always be visible. BACK takes you back to where you started. As it is now, to get to another book of your own choice, you must remember the abbreviation for each book and type it at the bottom. (For references and notes, the Kindle version works well enough.) I do not have a touch screen Kindle (yet) but assume that would be even faster with this method. The way it is now, I can navigate the printed version much faster than the Kindle version, and believe me, I don't know the Bible chapter and verse (wish I did).

Really disappointed. These will bend and pop outside of the oven. The rim is not rolled and mine arrived with a bent rim. Really thin metal. The tape holding the paper label also left a horrible residue. Still looking for a heavy pan that won't tarnish like aluminum

This book seemed like a fine way to prepare fro the GRE exam. I am using it as a supplement to other resources that I had already bought. It seems to cover all major parts of the exam, though I did notice that the depth of some sections was greater than others. I wonder if this has to do with which sections people tend to struggle with, or the author's own preferences or challenges. It is less 'neutral' than the book from big test-prep companies, but that IS NOT a bad thing! It is highly approachable, and I feel that it is an easier read than Kaplan.
