Yes, it is that bad! This is one DECEPTIVE company! Little do they tell you that when you sign up to receive a month's free sample from their website, they put an immediate HOLD on $190 as soon as you give them your credit card information!
I'm not a computer nerd, but a plain Joe looking for antivirus software. After the reviews, I decided to download this product. It will not download. I've tried several times with different saved locations from this website to no avail. It keeps saying that "A fatal error has occurred when parsing extracted packages. Self extract installer is corrupted. The system cannot find the file specified." My McAfee antivirus expired about a week ago and I wasn't looking to pay $40 a year for software. To my knowledge, I do not have any virus or malware that would have prevented this to be downloaded.
I travel a bit an like to be self sufficient and prepared. When traveling I carry only a carry-on sized backpack and this is small enough to pack easily and charges the batteries for my flashlight, my GoPro video camera as well as my iPhone and Kindle. In the zippered mesh pouch I can easily stow the Guide 10+ and 8 AA batteries and 4 AAA batteries as well as a Goal Zero USB led light. The size fully loaded as mentioned is just slightly larger than my Kindle in its leather case.
Why is the retail box set $27 (which is a download also) while the digital download is $99? See my full review at the retail box product.
Here's the thing. Norton works fine for what it is, a very basic $20 anti-virus solution. For most web users it's fine as long as you're not going into any of the nasty dirty areas of the interwebs. But Norton is SELFISH. I also have a Malware filter on my PC to get rid of the stuff that Norton misses -- because it does miss stuff now and then -- and Norton actually wanted me to remove my Malware protection. I don't think so. Good for basic protection, but nothing special.
Bought from headshop couldn't wait for delivery. Used this on the day of the hair and urine test. This combined with high voltage double flush. I passed my test with flying colors. Use EXACTLY as the instructions say and you should pass as well.
I wish I could say I had the opportunity to see if this device would produce any real results, unfortunately it stopped functioning after only 6 days - the charging base said it was fully charged, but the machine would not turn on. While it was actually functioning, I thought the unit was heavy and clunky, and that the shape made it awkward to get around the eye area which is where I primarily wanted to use it. Would definitely not recommend this product.
