I had a Netgear WNR2000v3 and a Metrocast provided cable modem. Everything was good but it was limited to DOCSIS 2.0. I found numerous positive reviews about the Motorola Surfboard modems. Having had a Bitsurfer from Motorola in the past for ISDN connectivity I had good experience with Motorola. This SBG6580 is an excellent modem but the firewall/router interface software is something straight out of the early 2000's. It is just plain terrible compared to the Netgear. I highly recommend you pass on this modem/router/firewall combo and get the Motorola SB6121 modem and a separate firewall/router/wireless unit.

Had a loose scroll wheel with the first mouse but got it exchanged and am completely happy with the replacement. I do wish that they offered a version without any lights since there are no power states and the LED stays lit irrelevant of the computer. That said, I prefer their minimalist approach and wouldn't want to see them start throwing software at the problem. If I was going to knock it for anything, it would be the side buttons since they're hard to activate without adjusting your grip, but as they don't affect me, I'm fine with it.

I had tried this on for about 1 year, and now until this day my eyelashes dont stop falling off. At first i thought it was the mascara, so i stopped wearing mascara. Then i realized it wasnt the mascara, it was this product. Dont buy it! Go to a doctor first and let them tell you what to buy.

I purchased this for my 2 1/2 year old. I'm well aware that this is given the age of 4 years and older, but my thought process was if she can work my iPhone and iPad, why can't she work this? I was right! She had this down stat! She loves it and she is using the games for learning purposes. It is a little limited for her at this point with all of the games, but it's better for her than the iPad. She has dropped it, hit it & poked hard at it with the stylus...and it is working great still! She is starting to recognize letters other than ones in her name and that's all I can ask for at this time. I'm glad we got it early and she can get as much possible use out of this if not more, than if we had waited until she was 4.
