  • Scearls - Great resource

Great book for those that are beginners or intermediate in knowledge of Excel 2010. Advanced users may still get some use out of it. I have been using this series of titles for nearly 10 years and have never been disappointed.

  • tnew - LOVE!

I create advertising for my company and love this program. It has tons of graphics and size options, and was so easy to learn 'on the go'. My only suggestion would be to add photo-altering capabilities.

  • Amazon Customer - Dependable and full featured

I've been using Outlook for a long time and have generally been pleased with the product. This version has been very stable. It occasionally loses connection to the Internet over wireless when the computer awakens from sleep mode requiring restart of the computer. Never lost any data or emails using this program.

  • JohnB - It is a hassle, but overall the product and service is better than alternatives I know about. Here is helpful installation info

Every year, the annual payroll subscription in QuickBooks has to be renewed with a purchase. You can buy this on Amazon for much less than Intuit would charge you (usually an automatic charge and renewal unless you stop it). On Amazon, buy the current year’s “QuickBooks Enhanced Payroll” and you will get a Product Number and a License Number. To use these, you first have to remove your current (expired or about to expire) payroll service, using these steps: 1) go to the Home page in QuickBooks, 2) Hit CTRL-K on keyboard, 3) On the subsequent “service keys” window, select the service and click the “remove” button to remove the old payroll service key. After doing this, your QuickBooks looks like it has no payroll service, and you can follow the instructions provided with your new “QuickBooks Enhanced Payroll” purchase. In short, the instructions are to go to the top-level "Employees" menu, then the "Payroll" submenu, and select the "Install Payroll from Box" option. The menus don't look like that if you already have a payroll subscription, which is one reason why you have to remove your current subscription first.

  • Magical Unicorn - Review in a bottle

If ye be readin' this review, it be too late fer me, matey, fer i find meself stranded on these wild shores with nothing but this blasted book and me wits to live upon. The Amity had been sailin' fer a fortnight when some cursed treacherous blasted devil of a storm took us. We found ourselves drifting in dark, murderous waters with nothin' to guide us but a copy of "How To Avoid Large Ships" and the wail of the Sirens' Song (a topic which is regrettably absent from this book). Suddenly, our minds confounded by this wonder, we were beset upon by a ship, though there was some debate among the crew as to whether it qualified as "Huge" or the much more popular "Very, VERY Large". In the end, the quartermaster was gutted, but I had took him for a scurvy knave and felt no loss in his absence.

  • padlam - When it works, the interface is nicer and very responsive than the standard ES7500, but YMMV

Ran into a lot of problems with this install. Prior to attaching the Evolution Kit, I upgraded the TV to latest software/firmware and TV kept powering on/off, removed the dongle from Evolution Kit and TV stayed on. I was able to configure the Evolution Kit (re-attached dongle right before network config). After the installation, I used the new system for about 3-4 hours exploring and sampling many of the features. Right off the bat, Netflix, Amazon Cloud, and Amazon Stream did not work (chalked it up to Evolution Kit still updating) but really liked the new interface and the how responsive the system was. Eventually turned off the system.

  • W. CHEUK - Necessary, but by itself not sufficient

A must-have guide for Step 1 prep. But by itself, not sufficient to cover the nitty-gritty details found on The Test. Best used as starting point in January or February, then add BRS review series. Mix in Kaplan QBank along the way. Alternatively, instead of BRS, you may want to review your own class notes on pathophysiology (which I did, and found quite helpful, even though it's more time-consuming). And, be sure to keep up with current health events in the news (they show up on the boards)!
