bonfireblondie - Great read about Lucy And Desi!

Interesting read about Desi and Lucy's private life. So sad about Desi's drinking problem. Lucy also had some issues. They loved each other but couldn't live together happily ever after. What amazed me is how they were snubbed by the movie industry and came back to own and buy out those studios to create an television empire. Sweet revenge. But at a cost of their happiness. I believe they were madly in love to begin with but I think that all the stress of Desilu was too hard for Desi and Lucy to endure. At the least it caused some of the acting out behavior that they had in their marriage. They really seemed to always love each other until the end. They did leave us all the funniest, most enduring I Love Lucy, comedy series. I still watch these old shows and laugh. These old sweet shows are like comfort food for the soul.

Works great except I can only use it with the light on which kind of hinders vision ironically. I can work around it so I still give it 4 stars. I had another that worked without the light, so I know mine must have been a fluke.
