Have been using this software for years and love it. Share it with my daughter and grandchildren so we can all prepare our tax returns as painless as possible. It asks the right questions.
I wanted to love this product but the smell for me was just terrible. We got this as a baby gift and used it maybe three times because it made our son smell like spoiled milk after he had been washed in it and I couldn't take the smell.
I've been using quicken for over 10 years. I will probably continue to use it since it's still the most comprehensive piece of personal finance software available (which isn't saying much), but wow. Transactions don't download consistently, I have to deactivate and reactivate my online links to accounts almost daily. Forget syncing to the Quicken cloud because it crashes every time. And I do mean every time.
Worked great on Win 10 until my computer assigned the backup drive to the G instead of the F drive. Now all I get is the message 'drive not ready' bcause Acronis will not switch to the G. The problem is that Acronis does not let you contact them directly for free if your purchase is more than 30 days old, and whose isn't. What company does not provide a contact or live chat option these days?? So down to 1 star for NO SUPPORT. Yes, you can check their user forums and may find a solution if you happen to get lucky. TOTALLY GETTING A NEW BACKUP PROGRAM.
I ordered this book as a companion for an upcoming cross country trip. It has every restaurant, hotel and gas station listed at each exit. We have no idea where we will be each night as we are going in February and the weather is certainly a factor and will determine our route. Now we will be able to plan our meals and coffee breaks and find (and make reservations) at hotels along the way. I usually use my GPS to help find food and lodging but the GPS finds all close by restaurants and hotels, even those that we have already passed or are far off the road we are traveling on. It will be nice to look at a book that tells what is coming up not what we have left behind. It will be especially helpful for us to be able to plan in advance when we are traveling where there are very few exits.
