After you pay for the product, you have to phone the company to install it. Then you find out they want you to let them have complete access to your computer to install it. No way am I letting someone else into my pc. I tried to cancel the order, but the technician ignored my commands to cancel the transaction, assuring me that they would send a key via email. So what? If I use the key I am still letting them into my computer. That isn't going to happen, I disputed the charge with my credit card company and sent the product back.
When I loaded this disc that I paid $23 for I got a message telling me that it is a 30 day trial & that for another $29.99 I could get the "full" version. What a joke & what a total rip-off. Acronis will give you a 30 day trial for FREE!!! Who would pay $23 for a 30 day trial? At least Amazon made it easy to return.
A trial version of OneNote 2007 was pre-installed on my laptop, so I knew its general capabilities, but the 2010 version is a step up. I use OneNote for work to: keep track of conversations and action items; pull together bits of information from multiple sources; and keep all of my projects visible at the same time. In one case, I recorded a telephone conversation through Google Voice (with permission), then embedded the MP3-formatted recording in OneNote alongside written notes I had on the same topic. I also use OneNote to brainstorm ideas for my business. I have had the software installed for only a week, but it has already changed the way I take and organize notes.
